In Dwyane Wade’s final appearance at the Staples Center against the Los Angeles Lakers, he got to face off against LeBron James one last time.
While Wade and the Miami Heat left with a loss, he still had high praise for James and the team’s young core. The 36-year-old was impressed with Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Josh Hart and believes the Lakers have the right players for the future.
Even with the team’s early success, they are still seemingly short one more All-Star player to really make a deep playoff run. Brandon Ingram, Ball, Kuzma, and Hart’s improvement has been encouraging, but unless one of them emerges as an All-Star caliber player, Los Angeles will have a hard time making a Finals appearance.
