EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard and 2015 No. 2 overall draft pick D'Angelo Russell has had a relatively slow start to his NBA career, averaging 9 points and 1.7 assists per game in 25.3 minutes per game.
The 19-year-old admits that he's still adjusting to the pro ranks, but Russell also said he's searching for something as simple as a pre-game routine.
"I tend to work a little too hard," Russell said after the Lakers' practice at their facility here Monday. "I’m always on my feet, just trying to stay on the court.
