D'Angelo Russell, Brandon Bass probable for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans; Kobe Bryant remains questionable

Though Kobe Bryant remains questionable for the Lakers' Tuesday night matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans (11-25) at Staples Center, the Lakers (8-31) hope to get D'Angelo Russell and Brandon Bass on the court.

"I'm going to try to. I'm going to test it, see how it feels," Russell, who's been nursing a sprained right ankle since Thursday, said Monday.

Russell was injured after scoring his career-high of 27 points in a 118-115 loss to the Kings in Sacramento. After trying to play on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he left after eight minutes and sat out Sunday against the Utah Jazz.
