Los Angeles Lakers head coach Byron Scott was not pleased with the play of his rookie point guard, D'Angelo Russell, in the team's loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, but Russell wasn't the only player whose play Scott took issue with. The defeat was the Lakers eighth in a row, ninth loss in their last ten games, and their 39th loss of the season as they cruise towards setting a new worst record in franchise history.
Such futility is not the fault of any one player, and Scott made clear that he wasn't pleased with anyone on the roster after the game, even telling reporters that he thought fans "had every right" to boo his team during the first quarter of the game due to how poorly they were playing.
