Bryce James wasn't a McDonald's All American like his big brother Bronny James, and he isn't a shoo-in to be the heir apparent to his famous father LeBron James. But on Friday night he accomplished something that he could call his own, helping Sierra Canyon School (Chatsworth, Calif.) claim the CIF State Division 1 title, knocking off Lincoln (Stockton, Calif.), 58-53.
It was evident early on that Bryce and the Trailblazers were behind enemy lines as a massive contingent of Trojans fans sporting their bright red colors flooded Golden 1 Center in Sacramento with raucous cheers well before the opening tip.
