It is a sad day in Los Angeles. The Lakers have decided to move on from 33-year-old Marcelo Huertas minutes before the NBA trade deadline, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical:
Huertas came to the Lakers during a dark time for in Los Angeles and brought joy to a team that desperately needed it with his flashy passes and his not-so-flashy passes. His presence will be sorely missed in the locker room.
The Lakers got 22-year-old point guard Tyler Ennis in this deal, but have already indicated they have no intention of keeping him around past this season.
