Brandon Ingram and the Los Angeles Lakers are rolling after defeating the San Antonio Spurs for their fourth straight win at Staples Center.
The Lakers overcame a fourth quarter deficit thanks to LeBron James and some timely baskets from members of the team’s young core.
At 15-9 to begin the 2018-19 NBA season, Los Angeles is keeping pace with the rest of the Western Conference and still sit in fifth place. However, the win came at a price as Ingram suffered an ankle injury in the first half and did not return.
Ingram was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and will miss the team’s two-game road trip, according to Mike Trudell of Lakers:
Brandon Ingram (sprained left ankle) is not on the trip with the Lakers.
