Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Bass turned his right ankle Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Mike Trudell of the team's official website.

Bass is in his first year with the Lakers after playing for four other teams his first 10 seasons in the NBA.
He grew from a role-player with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets and Dallas Mavericks, to at least a part-time starter with the Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics.
