“Big Game” James Worthy doesn’t want to hear that superstar players don’t want to team up with LeBron James on the Lakers.

El Segundo James Worthy was a superstar. His jersey hangs in the rafters at Staples Center alongside the other superstar players he payed with during the historic “Showtime” era for the Los Angeles Lakers, including Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jamaal Wilkes.

It may come as no surprise, then, that Worthy isn't buying into the idea that other superstar players don’t want to play with arguably the league’s biggest superstar, LeBron James, in L.A.

“I don’t believe it,” Worthy told Silver Screen and Roll at Spectrum SportsNet’s bloggers night.
