EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Anthony Davis was cleared and played in the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason game Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors.
Davis finished with eight points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in 28 minutes in the Lakers' 126-93 win.
Davis tested his sprained right thumb in practice on Tuesday and felt good after the Lakers' morning shootaround on Wednesday.
"Thumb feels good," Davis said after shootaround. "We didn't do much contact stuff, but we did enough where I can test it out and see how it feels, and it felt really good.
