The Cleveland Cavaliers were able to finally get a game back from the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals in Game 3 after two awful games on the road where they were absolutely trounced. However, one thing that was glaring about the Cavaliers in the win was the fact that Kevin Love was out of the lineup after suffering a concussion in Game 2.
Kevin Love’s absence in that game really loomed large in the victory for the Cavaliers. Tristan Thompson was big for Cleveland on the interior and they simply looked like a much better team than in the two games that Love had been on the floor.
