Take a second and think about how excited you would be if you got drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. You’d be excited, right? While that may be true, there is almost no way you would be as excited as Villanova guard Josh Hart apparently was when he found out the Lakers were taking him with the No. 30 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft Thursday night:
All caps? SIX exclamation points? That was Hart’s last tweet as of the writing of this post, so hopefully he didn’t literally explode with excitement.
Hart has real flaws as a player that caused him to get passed on 29 times before the Lakers called his name, but with this start it’s almost impossible to not imagine him being a fan favorite for the team at some point as well.
