The Los Angeles Lakers are wrapping up their preseason Friday night after what’s already been a successful preseason. The Lakers have beaten the Warriors all three times they’ve faced them and a lot of the new players have looked great. Anthony Davis has really meshed well with LeBron James, but even role players have stood out too. Some players haven’t played well unfortunately. Lakers Report host Hannah Kulik goes through Lakers Preseason Winners and Losers IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW.

LeBron James looks like himself after an injury-riddled 2018-19 season. He’s healthy and ready to lead the Lakers on a playoff run after a strong preseason. Dwight Howard is back with the Lakers and has put together a really nice preseason. He’s certainly a preseason winner and should have good momentum heading into the regular season. Avery Bradley also had a strong preseason and might’ve earned a starting role for the Lakers.
Troy Daniels played really well in the Lakers preseason opener with 14 points, but a sprained knee forced him out of the rest of the preseason. His role with the Lakers is uncertain as we move into the regular season. Alex Caruso has not picked up where he left off from last season as he’s shooting under 25 percent in the preseason. Has he worked his way out of the Lakers’ rotation? Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hasn’t shot the ball well this preseason and has Hannah and many Lakers fans wondering if he could be a trade chip later in the season.
Here’s the list of Lakers Preseason Winners & Losers:
Winners:
- LeBron James
- Dwight Howard
- Avery Bradley
Losers:
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
- Alex Caruso
- Troy Daniels
