The Los Angeles Lakers are looking for veteran point guard help behind Lonzo Ball in free agency. While they've had talks with George Hill, they're also considering adding PG Rajon Rondo.
Rajon Rondo is still in the mix for the coveted Lakers PG spot, I'm told. Per ESPN, George Hill is talking to Lakers today about one-yr deal

Rondo was one of the players the Lakers reached out to at the start of free agency. Rondo, recently waived by the Bulls, could be willing to sign the one-year deal the Lakers are offering players this year. The Lakers are focused on maintaining cap space for next summer.
Rondo would be the veteran backup point guard the Lakers need behind Ball. He had locker room issues in Dallas, but was well-liked by the Bulls' players, especially the young ones. His basketball IQ is off the charts and he'd be a good mentor if he plays nice with his new staff and teammates.
