Our Lakers news update for August 14th:
The Los Angeles Lakers are pushing full-speed ahead towards the team's upcoming training camp, including reportedly agreeing to a deal with forward Jonathan Holmes along with working out guard Bobby Brown earlier in the week.
Now it appears the Lakers have another fringe player on their minds in the quest to fill up their training camp roster -- Chinese Basketball Association player and former NBA Draft pick Jeremy Tyler:
Lakers also worked out Jeremy Tyler. He had 25 & 11, plus game-winner vs LA at summer league.

The CBA power forward/center signed with the Lakers last September but was cut before the start of the 2014-15 NBA regular season. Originally selected 39th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft, Tyler has spent time with the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks, along with his stint on this year's Dallas Mavericks NBA Summer League squad.
