LA Lakers legend, one time Lakers part-owner, and now ESPN analyst, Magic Johnson, has one of the most respected opinions in the NBA. After the Lakers early exit from the playoffs this 2010/2011 season, Magic does not like what he sees from his former team. Magic feels that the Lakers have lost the hunger and the drive needed t0 win an NBA championship. He went as far to say "they [The Lakers] have no athletes". Magic's solution to the Lakers Gm’s is to drop three core players Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol for NBA All-Star Dwight Howard. This trade would entirely change the face of the Lakers organization. Furthermore, Kobe Bryant is not getting any younger, so the Lakers would have to hold on to Dwight Howard for a long time in order to make this a worthy investment.
We here at ChatSports want to hear your thoughts. Do you think the addition of Dwight Howard in exchange for Odom, Bynum and Gasol will bring another title to The City of Angels?
