In today's look into Lakers rumors and news, the Los Angeles Lakers are still players in a potential three-way trade which would land them Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson.
Here's the updated deal, courtesy of NBA Legion:
Updated blockbuster talk: Lakers get: Klay Thompson. Warriors Get: Kevin Love, Kevin Martin. T-Wolves Get: David Lee, Lakers 7th pick.

From a Lakers' perspective, this basically just qualifies as swapping the #7 pick for Klay Thompson - a solid deal no matter how deep the draft is purported to be this year.
The Warriors are currently said to be split internally over letting Thompson go, with new head coach Steve Kerr and executive Jerry West opposed to breaking up the team's stellar backcourt duo of Thompson and Stephen Curry.
However, if the tune changes in Oakland, it would be a homecoming of sorts for Klay Thompson. His father, Mychal, used to play for the Lakers and is currently a radio analyst for the team.
