In this Lakers rumors and news update, the Golden State Warriors might look to help free-agent reserve guard Jordan Crawford out with a possible sign-and-trade opportunity - with the Lakers emerging as a potential contender to acquire his services.
According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the Warriors are considering putting together such a deal in order to help Crawford find a better opportunity to pick up minutes:

Spears names the Lakers as one of several teams that could target the four-year NBA journeyman:

Crawford has already played for four teams in his short NBA career. However, he has averaged double-digit scoring in each of his four professional campaigns, including 11.0 points in a career-low 23.0 minutes per game in 2013-14.
In Crawford, the Lakers could pick up a volume scorer on the relative cheap - depending on the terms of any sign-and-trade that the Warriors are willing to offer.
