Steve Nash's battles with injuries during his stay in Los Angeles have been well-documented, so his latest battle with his health might not come as a surprise.
However, per Mike Trudell of Lakers.com, the 40-year-old future Hall-of-Famer is convinced that this time will be different:
Nash hopes he can “bounce back quickly” from this setback. Currently having shooting pains down his leg, is hopeful relief comes soon.

With those same "shooting pains" causing his discomfort no matter what he does (including lifting bags), the Lakers remain in a wait-and-see mode with Nash.
As Lakers Nation writer Ryan Ward reminds us, "during the off-season, the Lakers chose not to use the stretch provision on the veteran point guard. There was a lot of debate swirling about whether the team would part ways with Nash, but apparently the team didn’t see much of a positive in letting him go."
Whether that was merely financial or motivated by a belief that he could come back healthy, the Lakers remain behind Nash as he looks to get his body right and contribute to the Lakers' 2014/15 NBA season.
