The Los Angeles Lakers will have Nick "Swaggy P" Young back in the lineup for the first time during the 2014-15 NBA season when the team opens up a three-game road trip on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.

Young tore a ligament in his right thumb during training camp while guarding Kobe Bryant. The injury required surgery, bringing with it a six-to-eight week recovery time.
During the past week, Young has been able to shoot without the cast on his right hand. Lakers head coach Byron Scott let the assembled press know earlier last week that Young was slated for a return this week, but now it looks like we have a concrete date for Swaggy P's reentry into the Los Angeles Lakers' rotation.
