The Los Angeles Lakers will face an Oklahoma City Thunder team missing its biggest weapon on Friday night, as Kevin Durant will sit out with a right ankle sprain suffered in the Thunder's loss on Thursday night to the Golden State Warriors.
Here's ESPN's Royce Young with the report:
Kevin Durant is out tonight against the Lakers with a right ankle sprain. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow to see if he can go Sunday.

Durant became the first player since the merger to score 30 points in 20 minutes or less of game action on Thursday, before awkwardly rolling his right ankle late in the second quarter. While X-rays showed no structural damage, the Thunder are wise to rest Durant on the second game of a back-to-back.
For the Lakers, this means a lot more Russell Westbrook when it comes to the Thunder's offense. Los Angeles will likely key in their defensive efforts on the dynamic guard while hoping to force Oklahoma City's secondary scores to beat them.
