Veteran power forward Carlos Boozer has shown flashes of his peak self during his 2014-15 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, but all indications seem to point to Boozer leaving town once his one-year contract expires this season.
Here's Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News with the report:
...it seems unlikely Boozer would return amid the Lakers’ quest to develop rookie Julius Randle and Boozer’s possible hope for a bigger role.
“That’s another one of those questions we can’t answer right now,” (head coach Byron) Scott said. “A lot of it depends on the draft and free-agent market.”
In 70 games for the Lakers this season, Boozer has averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest -- both career lows for the veteran big man.
