The Los Angeles Lakers have unquestionably been the Kobe Bryant Show ever since the 2014-15 NBA season opened up just under two weeks ago.
0-5 heading into Sunday's home game against the Charlotte Hornets, the team's overreliance on Kobe has been a glaring weakness that, per Mark Medina of the LA Daily News, head coach Byron Scott is attempting to address:
Byron Scott said fact there is not a definitive No. 2 behind Kobe adds to disconnect with Kobe taking burden.

At this juncture, big man Jordan Hill has been the closest thing to a #2 option that the Los Angeles Lakers have. However, Hill's defense is what makes him a major asset, not necessarily always his offense. Therefore, Scott has singled out three players that need to step it up in order to take some of the load off of Bryant:
Byron believes Boozer, Lin and Johnson collectively elevating game will fill No. 2 void

It remains to be seen if the collective talents of Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer, and Wesley Johnson can fill the obvious void in the team's production. However, if the losses keep piling up, the Lakers may have to look elsewhere to put a tourniquet on the wound.
