The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls are two of the NBA's most storied franchises, with Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan respectively carrying the banner for each team's success during the modern era of NBA basketball.
With that in mind, one of the fantasies that has dominated a lot of basketball fans' minds over the past couple decades is who (in their primes) would win in a one-on-one game - Kobe or Jordan?
Weighing in the matter via Dan Duangdao of Lakers Nation, Kobe's high school coach, Dave Miller, picked vintage Black Mamba over Vintage Air Jordan:
I mean that would be a heck of a matchup. I’m maybe a little bit biased, but I guess I certainly take my guy (Kobe) in that situation.
Even Jordan, notoriously prideful when it comes to his basketball talents, told reporters last season that the only player in his prime that would give him a run for his money would have been Kobe.
So, what do you think Lakers fans? Be sure to make your pick between Kobe and Jordan in the comments section below.
