In this Lakers news update, head coach Byron Scott has had enough of the losing after his Los Angeles Lakers dropped their fourth straight game on Friday night to a Minnesota Timberwolves team universally thought to be one of the Western Conference's worst.
Per a report by ESPN's Baxter Holmes, Scott was very honest about his team's current situation after the loss.
"Right now, we're the worst time in the West," Scott said.
It's hard to argue Scott's point with the Los Angeles Lakers standing at 3-13 and struggling to find any sort of cohesion on either side of the court. The Lakers are currently giving up a league-worst 111.4 points per game. Not even the best offense in the league can consistently do enough to offset that positive scoring and energy-wise.
At this point, the Lakers appear in need of an influx of new energy to turn this season around. Where that could possibly come from is unclear at this juncture.
