Las Vegas (AFP) - A felony cocaine possession charge against Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll was reduced as part of a plea deal approved Thursday in which he admitted guilt to two misdemeanors.
Stoll, who was charged by authorities in Las Vegas on Monday after being arrested in April, must perform 32 hours of community service over the next 120 days, a process he has already started.
A hotel security guard discovered cocaine in Stoll's pocket during a voluntary pat-down.
Stoll, who pleaded guilty to trespass and breach of peace charges, will work with the Salvation Army and organize a hockey camp for at-risk youth as community service and report back to authorities on his progress in August.
