Shore's late goal bumps Kings to 4-3 win over Edmonton

LOS ANGELES – Nick Shore

The Kings worked with a lead for over three-fourths of the game, but the Oilers wouldn’t die, making sure Saturday’s affair came down to the final moments.

Marian Gaborik, who’s been struggling offensively this season, got the Kings on the board immediately, scoring his second goal of the season 1:17 minutes into the contest.

While the Kings worked with the puck in the Oilers’ zone, Tanner Pearson was ferocious on the forecheck, causing Andrej Sekera to cough up the puck, which Gaborik scooped up and chipped past Cam Talbot.
