It’s time! Tonight, the Hockey Hall of Fame enshrines four new members. One of them, of course, is the first player who had his number retired for the Los Angeles Kings, and the first truly great goaltender in franchise history; Rogatien Vachon.
The honor was announced back in June, but we’re finally getting to the actual induction. Last night he got his blazer...
... and tonight he gets his plaque. (Note that they also chose the correct jersey for him.)
You can watch the ceremony starting at 5 PM Pacific on NHL Network. Vachon will join the ranks along with Eric Lindros, Sergei Makarov, and Pat Quinn.
