The Kings' long awaited return to the playoffs finally came tonight, and things even got started on the right foot. Unfortunately, both leads the Kings had in the game were short lived and the Sharks got the better of things in the end. The Kings finally had their game going in the right direction in the 3rd period, but only after the Sharks opened the period with a Joe Pavelski goal. Ultimately, their strong(ish) play (influenced by score effects) was too little too late, and the Kings fell behind in the series 1-0.
