Milan Lucic from the Boston Bruins in exchange for goaltender Martin Jones, defensive prospect Colin Miller, and their 13th overall selection in this past weekend’s Draft.
Lucic comes to the Kings after spending his entire eight-year NHL career in Boston, the team who drafted him 50th overall in 2006. In 662 games in a Bruins uniform, including 96 playoff gams, Lucic totaled 165 goals and 238 assists, good for 403 total points. Lucic, who’s know to be a heavy power forward, mixes in an enforcer role to go along with his knack to find a way to find the net.
