A versatile defenseman, McBain has five years of history in the NHL, spending four seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, one with the Buffalo Sabres, and last season with the Kings.
All in all, the shifty defenseman has played in 301 NHL games, registering 101 points (28 G, 73 A), along with 66 penalty minutes.
