The Los Angeles Kings have been honored quite a bit in the last few years. On Wednesday night the Kings picked up another title to add to their shelf of awards.
On May 20th Kings were named the “Sports Team of the Year” at the Sports Business Awards. The awards event took place in New York City at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square per the Kings website.
Kings President of Business Operations Luc Robitaille, who is a Kings legend and NHL Hall of Famer in his own right, accepted the award on behalf of the franchise.
