AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, have won the 2015 Calder Cup trophy in 5 games against the Canucks affiliate, Utica Comets. If you’ve followed the series at all, you know it’s been a great one. Fast, lots of scoring, high compete level, scrums, and huge hits – the way hockey should be.
The final score was 2-1 with Manchester goals coming from prospect, Adrian Kempe, and defenseman, Vincent LoVerde. Patrik Bartosak stepped into game 4 in relief of injured, J.F. Berube, to lead the team to wins in game 4 and game 5.
