Kings Acquire Milan Lucic from Boston Bruins

Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Trade for Milan Lucic, and the world laughs at you.

The Los Angeles Kings completed a headline-grabbing deal Friday afternoon. GM Dean Lombardi sent backup goalie Martin Jones, defensive prospect Colin Miller, and the 13th overall draft pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Milan Lucic.

In Lucic, the Kings are acquiring a rugged left winger known more for his ability to hit and fight than he is for his ability to score goals. With that said, the 27-year old forward is coming off of a season in which he picked up 18 goals and 26 assists.
