LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have acquired defenseman Rob Scuderi from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. To make room on the 23-man roster, defenseman Kevin Gravel has been assigned to Ontario.
Scuderi, 37, has played in 17 games with the Blackhawks this year, going scoreless.
The 6-1, 212-pound native of Syosset, New York has played for the Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Kings during his 12-year NHL career, including winning two Stanley Cups (2012 – Los Angeles, 2009 – Pittsburgh).
