Former Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown is headed to the Hall — the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, that is.
USA Hockey announced today that Brown will join the Hall as a member of the class of 2023. Brown is joined in this year’s class by executive Brian Burke, three-time Olympic medalist Katie King Crowley, two-time Stanley Cup champion Jamie Langenbrunner, and on-ice official Brian Murphy.
During Brown’s tenure with the Kings, he played 1,296 regular season games, seventh of all Americans. He was just the second American captain in league history to lead his team to the Stanley Cup.
