For the Kings and their Dads, this took place while the club made their annual trek to New York to play the Islanders and Rangers on February 11 & 12.
With most of the players’ families living hundreds, if not thousands of miles away from Los Angeles, this presented a rare opportunity for not only the fathers to watch their sons play live, but to spend quality time with them before and after the games.
“Growing up, your Dad was at every game, but for him to come on the road and go through video sessions and kind of our game-day thing, it was great,” said Trevor Lewis.
