The Kings limped home from their five-game trip with another loss, resuming a pattern of struggling to score and not getting enough production from their power play.
Colorado scored twice in a 22-second span in the second period, added a goal in the third that the Kings unsuccessfully challenged on the basis of goaltender interference and later scored an empty-net goal, taking a 4-1 victory over the Kings Tuesday night at the Pepsi Center. That left the Kings 1-3-1 on their trip. They won only the first game, at Toronto, and lost three times in regulation and once in a shootout.
