Five minutes after the Los Angeles Kings won their first individual regular season award in nearly two decades, they won another one! Anze Kopitar overcame Patrice Bergeron to win the Selke Trophy, awarded to the league's best defensive forward (or two-way forward, as it's come to represent).

Much like the Norris Trophy, this is going to a player who easily could have won this in past seasons, but has built up a leaguewide reputation and edged out a multiple-time winner whose team missed the playoffs.
