To be a part of a Special Olympics Unified team means to collaborate and communicate together as a whole unit.
Everything I do in a team feels fun and empowering because I am cooperating strategically with a group of people exhibiting the same skill sets as me. I can help other team members recognize their strengths by slowly breaking down and directing each of their positions on the field. This responsibility that I am called to do helps me realize my effective traits as a leader.
What inclusion means to me is being a part of something new.
