WATCH: McBean scores stunning opening goal

Jack McBean has scored goals at every level of professional soccer. He led Los Dos last year in goals scored, even as he missed a couple of months while on loan with Coventry City over in England.

Tonight, against the Colorado Rapids, the 22-year-old striker scored a sensational goal at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

The ball was won way up in the attacking third and it found McBean via a deflection. McBean then hit a shot first time, beating US Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard from some distance outside the box.

Los Angeles were not able to hold onto the lead in the first half with Dillon Serna scoring the equalizing goal with eight minutes remaining until halftime.
