LOS ANGELES – Two members of the LA Galaxy eSports team will compete in the eClub World Cup, the club's first-ever international tournament this week.
Giuseppe Guastella and Martin Oregel will represent the Galaxy in the qualifiers this week, with the top two from each region qualifying for the eClub World Cup next month. Guastella will compete in the PlayStation bracket while Oregel will be part of the Xbox tournament.
The winner of the eClub World Cup will receive a prize of $100,000 USD and 1,500 Global Series Points. The Galaxy are one of only four MLS teams participating in the tournament, joining Columbus Crew SC, New York City FC, and the Philadelphia Union.
