Over the past couple weeks, there’s been rumors rumbling that the LA Galaxy could look to sign attacker Sebastian Giovinco, a former MLS MVP.
Much like the hiring of Greg Vanney, the context clues make some sense here. In Vanney’s case, he was walking away from Toronto FC as head coach and the Galaxy needed a manager — bang! It happened. Likewise, Giovinco played for Vanney at TFC and they won a treble together, and the Galaxy need a top-line attacker to feature alongside Chicharito, and Cristian Pavon may not be back, so hey, this makes sense.
