LOS ANGELES – The Rose Bowl Stadium will host Mexico vs. Cuba in a 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup doubleheader on Saturday, June 19 to open the 15th edition of the continental championship tournament.
Mexico will participate in Group A alongside Cuba, Canada, and Martinique and open the tournament against Cuba on June 19. The match will be the second of two games that afternoon with Canada and Martinique opening the tournament in Pasadena.
This summer’s tournament will be the first to feature an expanded version, with 16 countries vying for continental glory in what is set to be the largest Gold Cup in history.
