CARSON, Calif. – A load was lifted off the shoulders of Romain Alessandrini on Friday.
The Frenchman notched his first goal since the season opener in the Galaxy’s 1-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. Alessandrini’s second goal of the year was a rocket as he blasted it 25-yards past goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell to give the Galaxy the win.

After being called offside and hitting the post multiple times in the last several matches, the striker was overjoyed to get back on the score sheet.
