Terrible news for a LA Galaxy team which has gotten off to such a strong start in 2019.
After going down during the early stages of last Friday victory over the Houston Dynamo with a knee injury, the club confirmed this morning Designated Player Romain Alessandrini will be out until at least September after suffering a meniscus tear. The organization also revealed the 30-year old Frenchman has already undergone successful surgery in Santa Monica at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute at Cedars-Sinai.
There has already been speculation the Galaxy may need to find a replacement sooner rather than later.
