Romain Alessandrini out 1-2 weeks, Giovani dos Santos for longer

One positive piece of news emerged following yesterday’s disastrous home draw vs. the Colorado Rapids.

Many feared the worst when Romain Alessandrini was subbed off in the 27th minute of Saturday’s 2-2 tie with an undisclosed right leg injury, but an MRI revealed no structural damage. Alessandrini is expected to be out 1-2 weeks.

“[Romain] is fine structurally, it’s just a little bruise in there that they have to take care of, so we need time for him to get back, I don’t know exactly what the timeline is,” the Galaxy boss said.
