The LA Galaxy will be without right back Robbie Rogers for an extended period.
The Galaxy defender revealed via Instagram on Tuesday morning that he'll miss Wednesday's Pride Night game against the Colorado Rapids after undergoing ankle surgery. A year ago, Rogers scored his first goal for the club on Pride Night in the Galaxy's 5-0 victory over the Portland Timbers.
There is no timetable for Rogers' return to the field, but ankle surgery typically sidelines players anywhere from six weeks to two months.
