For the first time since 2001, the LA Galaxy have started the season 0-2. It doesn’t get any easier for Curt Onalfo’s side as they travel to Sandy, Utah to take on Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.
It’s been an unfortunate start to the season for the LA Galaxy. For starters, FC Dallas is no slouch. Oscar Pareja’s men are arguably one of the best teams in Major League Soccer, and starting the season against the current Supporters’ Shield holders was always going to be tough.
Then the Portland Timbers followed. Like Dallas, the Timbers are tipped to be one of the best in West, and on paper, the game was going to be the perfect barometer for the Galaxy.
