The LA Galaxy announced today that former Galaxy captain Peter Vagenas has been named LA Galaxy Vice President of Soccer Operations. Vagenas, who took over as the Director of the LA Galaxy Academy in 2013, previously played in Major League Soccer for 13 years and was a part of the Galaxy's 2002 and 2005 MLS Cup championships.
